TESTIMONIALS
What They’re Saying
I would highly recommend Natalie as a driven animator with an eagerness to learn. Natalie has a strong understanding of the post-production process and appreciation for various animation mediums. During her internship she displayed a broad knowledge of the craft coupled with a desire to meet project requirements that makes her a fantastic team member. I believe Natalie would make a great addition to any type of team, post-production or not.

Motion Designer

Natalie Byers is a standout among her peers and her work exceeds the rigorous
demands and expectation of the GAND Animation Tract. She works on stories, filmmaking,
character design, and editing as a day to day part of her life. She usually runs
ahead of schedule as a strategy for incorporating instructor suggestions, all while
keeping a rich social life. In other words, she can juggle many balls, and still have
energy for any surprises. Best of all, she takes direction extremely well. You won’t be
getting any attitude from Natalie!

Art in the Archives Award
I was awarded second place, and gifted with art supples of my choosing! The 2020 Art in the Archives contest was a semester-long project where students selected photos from Longwood's Archives to create new pieces of art. It was very meaningful to me, because I worked as a student assistant for three years in special collections and archives for Greenwood Library. It was so exciting to see some of the photographs I had digitized be used in completely new and thoughtful ways.

Greenwood Library Student Award
I received this award in 2019 for two pieces of work, an animatic and a digital painting. My work was displayed in Greenwood Library for a year and I was also gifted $200. It was an honor to present my work at the gallery opening and had a great time explaining the process and answering questions!
